How quickly can I expect to see results?
Depending
upon your age, skin condition, and the products used previously on your
skin, visible results will vary greatly - however, you'll be able to
feel the results almost immediately. It's important to remember that
wrinkles, sun damage, dehydration, and enlarged or clogged pores didn't
appear overnight. L'Bri products are corrective, working from the inside
out to restore and repair the skin. While many people report positive
changes in the appearance of their skin within the first week, it will
take four to six weeks for your skin to experience the maximum benefits
from L'Bri.

Why is it so important to use the 3 step program completely
and regularly?
There
is no single product that can accomplish the functions of these three
products combined:
- If you use
cleanser and moisturizer and eliminate the freshener, the skin becomes
more receptive to bacteria and can cause blemishes.
- If you use
the freshener and moisturizer, skipping the cleanser, the skin is
not thoroughly cleansed and true moisturizing will not take place.
- If you use
the cleanser and freshener and omit the moisturizer, then the skin
is robbed of essential moisture and moisture-retaining elements
it needs to be smooth, clear, and younger-looking.
You
must use the full three steps of the Trio twice a day, every day to
see full visible results from L'Bri Pure n' Natural.

What if I want to continue using my old products along
with L'Bri?
L'Bri
products are synergistic. Synergistic means "working together for
total superior effect". L'Bri products are formulated to be used
together. Each step enhances the affects of the next step and so on.
It is never a good idea to hodge podge (mix) skin care products. All
skin care products must be used together for optimum results. Hodge
podging is another reason why many people develop confused skin which
results in a variety of different types of skin challenges.

What is an allergic reaction?
An
individual shows an allergic reaction to a particular product, food,
etc., when contact with the substance results in severe swelling, redness,
and/or itching. If an individual has an allergy or sensitivity to a
product it will usually show up instantaneously following the use of
the product.
If
you react with an allergic reaction to ANY skin care product, discontinue
use immediately. Do not continue to use products you are sensitive to.
This could strengthen your allergy and threaten your health.

Are L'Bri products allergy tested?
Yes.
Our skin care products are subjected to allergy testing under strictest
guidelines. The allergy testing of L'Bri products is performed on people
who are known to be allergic to most other cosmetic products.
Most
customers even with the most sensitive skin can use L'Bri Pure n' Natural.
Occaisionally, I do find someone that is allergic to aloe. This is rare,
but it has been known to happen. If you react with an allergic reaction
to ANY skin care product, discontinue use immediately. Do not continue
to use products you are sensitive to. This could strengthen your allergy
and threaten your health.

Will I break out once I begin using L'Bri?
Keep
in mind that the L'Bri skin care products are corrective products that
really work. These products are very concentrated and achieve visible
results by healing damaged skin tissue, allowing the natural radiance
of the skin to shine through.
Most
clients who begin using L'Bri products have skin which need corrective
care. As imbedded impurities in the skin begin to surface, you may experience
a blemish or two as your skin begins its healing process. These blemishes
never last more than a few days, and you'll then experience a smoother,
clearer complexion. The skin is merely beginning to correct itself.
Depending on how damaged and clogged the skin was before using L'Bri
will determine how much of a correction you will experience.
It
takes a full 30 days to see the full visible results of L'Bri Pure n'
Natural. During this time your skin will flush out imbedded impurities
and begin to heal. As your skin heals, the texture and clarity will
improve. After 30 days your skin will feel like new again - fresh, smooth,
and hydrated.
Don't be confused
by this temporary flushing out period with an allergic
reaction.

Why is my skin looking flaky?
This
is a wonderful sign! Most people will have a certain amount of dead
cell buildup on their skin. At the age of 35 your skin's cell renewal
rate begins to slow down. Aloe is a natural exfoliate and helps the
skin to "shed" it's old worn out skin cells. Some people may
notice a little flaking of the skin around the second or third week
of using the product. This condition unusually only lasts a dew days.
Try increasing the use of the scrub and facial masque during this time,
and the end result will be a smoother, fresher looking complexion.

What role does pH play for the skin?
The
term pH refers to the measurement of the acids and alkali in the skin.
The amount of acid in the skin determines the skin's resistance to bacteria.
Skin
is naturally slightly acidic, measuring about 6 on the pH scale. Nature
does this for good reason - to protect the skin against bacteria. When
the skin is in balance it is healthier, more attractive, and has fewer
blemishes. Acne, allergies, and other skin problems are associated with
skin that is "off-balance" In addition to good skin care,
proper diet, cleanliness, regularity and "peace of mind" all
play a part in maintain a healthy, well-balanced skin.

Why is soap so bad for the skin?
All
soap is made with fats, waxes, and tallows, which leave behind a residue.
You've seen this residue in your soap dish, bathtub, or shower stall.
That same filmy residue is left behind on your skin every time you cleanse
with a soap-based product. Over time, this residue becomes imbedded
in your skin.
Not
only that, but one of the greatest enemies to the skin's pH balance
is soap because it makes the skin alkaline - and thus more receptive
to bacteria. Since soap is highly alkaline (and extremely drying) it
should never be used on the complexion. With the L'Bri cleansers, you
can achieve a thorough cleansing of the surface skin and the pores without
drying the skin or disrupting the skin's pH balance.

What causes wrinkles?
Dehydration,
the natural loss of moisture during aging, is the main cause of wrinkles
in the skin. The skin is composed of two layers: the outer layer being
the epidermis and deeper layers, the dermis. Both are supported by inner
layers of cells and fatty tissue, that give the skin support, firmness,
and contour. As dehydration occurs, the fatty tissues lose moisture
and begin to shrivel. Without the firm, plump fatty tissues for support
the surface layers wrinkle, and the skin begins to look older.
Keep
in mind that many other factors can contribute to the development of
wrinkles. Sudden loss of weight, illness, stress, fatigue, exposure
to the sun, smoking and improper facial care also play a significant
role in the production of wrinkles.

Which products should I use if I have sagging skin?
Maxifirm
is our firming product of choice. This revolutionary formula is a scientific
breakthrough from the L'Bri laboratories that "takes on" the
unwanted signs of aging. This unique skin treatment stimulates fiberblast
cells that product protein and converts them into skin-thickening, line
smoothing collagen. It will leave skin looking firmer, tighter, and
younger-looking.
Another
wonderful product for this condition is the facial masque. It is sometimes
called the facial lift in a bottle because the results are so dramatic.
Try it on half of your face to see just how much of a lift you get!

Which product stimulates the most collagen?
Time
Erase is our best collagen stimulator. Lack of collagen makes the skin
look thin and saggy. Time Erase will give you the thick, plumpness you
may be after. Really all of our anti-aging products (Maxifirm, Dermaplex
A, and Time Erase) are all collagen stimulators, but Time Erase is the
best.

What are skin pores?
Pores
are the outer openings of the glands that carry oil, moisture and waste
matter to the skin's surface. They also help control body temperature.
When we're in a cold environment, tiny muscles close the pores, helping
retain body heat. When the temperate rises, the pores open and secrete
moisture, which evaporate and creates "cold", to help the
body maintain its normal temperature. In addition to these vital processes,
90% of our breathing is done through the pores, so it is extremely important
to keep these openings clean.

What causes pores to enlarge?
When
pore secretions "dry up" in the neck of the pore, the pore
becomes clogged and new secretions accumulate behind the obstruction,
causing an enlargement. When the obstruction is removed, the pore will
return to normal size. However, if the pore neck has been stretched
open for too long, the pore will remain large for a week or two, and
gradually close, according to nature.
There
are also other external factors that can aggravate this condition. Today,
more than ever before, our skin is exposed to dirt, grime, and other
pollutants from our environment. Unless the surface skin is thoroughly
cleansed, these elements can remain on the skin surface, further causing
pores to enlarge.
Improper
skin care can also add to the problem. Cleansing the skin with heavy
creams or moisturizing with products containing waxes, oils, and other
fillers can leave a residue to collect in the pores.

What products should I use if I have enlarged pores?
Using
the trio properly (all three products, twice a day, everyday) will dramatically
improve an enlarged pore issue. You might also want to try using the
Facial Scrub three times a week to give your skin the exfoliation it
needs. Another trick that I like to use is the Smooth n' Firm Eye Gel.
I find that even the mammoth pores over my husbands nose shrank down
to normal size after only a week of using the eye gel on them.

What products should I use if I have rosecea?
Rosecea
can be a very hard thing to live with. Our faces are the first thing
people see when they look at us and because of that most people strive
to keep a clear, clean complexion. When a person suffers from rosecea
they can feel like a social outcast. The symptoms of rosecea are
- Redness on
the cheeks, nose, chin, or forehead.
- Small blood
vessels visible under the skin on the face.
- Bumps or pimples
on the face.
- Irritated or
watery eyes.
Rosecea
is triggered by environmental factors such as diet, sun exposure, and
stress. It can also be enflamed by the use of skin care products that
sting or burn. L'Bri Pure n' Natural skin care products are not harmful
to the skin, and contain no alcohol or acetone to cause further rosecea
inflammation.
In
order to best treat your skin you should still pick your trio according
to your skin type. Click here for help knowing
which skin type you are and which trio you should use.
The
best moisturizer for a rosecea sufferer would be either the Intense
Moisturizer or the Oil Free. The Gentle Moisturizer has extracts of
Evening Primrose which can enflame the condition.
Also
when using the Masque, do not use the cleanser or the freshener. Really
the best concentrated cleanser to use with Rosecea is the Peel.
When
you first begin to use the L'Bri trio, only use the freshener at night.
This will allow your skin to slowly adapt to the deep cleaning effect
of L'Bri.
If
your skin becomes inflamed use the Smooth n' Firm Eye Repair Gel over
the areas to soothe and cool the redness.
