Direct Sales Party GuideLearn step-by-step how to hold a very successful direct sales party!
Holding a direct sales party can seem like the worlds most intimidating thing when you first think about it. So many things to say and remember! How are you going to handle it all? Well, the first step is to relax! Starting something new can always seem overwhelming. The best thing to do is to take your time, read, and learn as much as you can about your company and your products. Once you feel comfortable talking about the products and feel confident that you can answer most questions that customers will have, start talking with your friends and family members to see who would be interested in holding a party. Keep in mind that you're starting with your friends and family so that you can gain experience and really get your feet wet at directing the party. It's good to understand that this is only a starting point, and that you will need to be reaching out to new people continually in order to keep your business growing. After you've booked a show, follow these easy steps:
Give her a Hostess
Checklist and Wish List so she can start selecting the products
she wants to earn. By going over the Hostess Checklist, you can ensure
that she understand what her role is as your business partner for the
party. 3. Get prepared - In the run up to the party, make sure to watch your direct sales party presentation several times. Once you've memorized the presenters actions, set up your products and practice directing the party. If there are aspects of the presentation that make you uncomfortable, reword them until you do feel comfortable.
5. Before the Party - Try to arrive at your hostess's house 30-45 minutes before the party. This will give you plenty of time to talk with your hostess, unpack, and get prepared. Make sure to take 5 minutes to completely relax and get into your "zone" before the guests arrive. 6. During the Party - Even with all the preparation in the world, unexpected things are going to happen. Guess what? That's okay! Don't worry about not knowing all the answers. Concentrate on directing a fun, informative conversation about your products and let everyone know how easy it is to do your job and make money this way. 7. Taking Orders - It helps to find a separate area to speak with each guest and calculate their orders. Make sure to discuss any special needs they might have and how your products will best help them. Also mention your business program to EVERYONE. You never know who may be interested in joining your company.
9. Placing Orders - Even after the party is over, there's still work to be done! Go online to place all of your orders and hostess redemption form. If you feel like more orders or bookings for more parties will come in, wait to fill out the form so your hostess gets rewarded for everything she's eligible for. 10. Customer Service - The party doesn't end even after the orders are placed! Make sure to call all of the guests and follow-up with them on their products. Make sure they're pleased with their order and how excited you'd be to direct a party for them. The
fact is: The more personal and friendly your service, Whether it's booking another direct sales party or it's joining your company, people respond to positive, upbeat, friendly people.
